We also offer 5.2 mm, <strong>8 mm<\/strong>, 10 mm, 12 mm, and 16 mm.\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"faq-item\">\n<summary>What is the maximum operating temperature of cartridge heaters?<\/summary>\n<div class=\"faq-answer\">\nThe maximum recommended surface temperature of a high-load cartridge heater is <strong>600 \u00b0C<\/strong> with an AISI 304 stainless steel sheath, or <strong>750 \u00b0C<\/strong> with an AISI 309 sheath. The exact maximum depends on the cartridge type and the application.\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"faq-item\">\n<summary>What diameters of cartridge heaters do you manufacture?<\/summary>\n<div class=\"faq-answer\">\nWe manufacture cartridge heaters in standard diameters: <strong>5 mm, 6.5 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12.5 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm<\/strong>. For non-standard diameters please <a href=\"\/en\/contact\/\">contact us<\/a> \u2014 we adapt production to your needs.\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"faq-item\">\n<summary>What materials are the sheaths of heating elements made of?<\/summary>\n<div class=\"faq-answer\">\nAs standard we use stainless steel <strong>AISI 304<\/strong>. For higher temperatures <strong>AISI 309<\/strong> is available. For special applications other materials such as titanium or Incoloy can be supplied. Individual element types have a limited choice of sheath materials \u2014 we will recommend the best solution for your application, just <a href=\"\/en\/contact\/\">contact us<\/a>.\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"faq-item\">\n<summary>What is the SERPENTINE\u00ae technology by Tutco SureHeat?<\/summary>\n<div class=\"faq-answer\">\n<strong>SERPENTINE\u00ae<\/strong> is a patented technology by the American company Tutco SureHeat for heating gases (mainly air). It ensures perfect contact between the heated gas and the surface of the heating wire and a very fast ramp-up to the target temperature. Since 2018 ELEKTRON-ETTO has been the exclusive supplier of this technology for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details class=\"faq-item\">\n<summary>What is the difference between mica and ceramic band heaters?<\/summary>\n<div class=\"faq-answer\">\n<strong>Mica band heaters<\/strong> are suitable for low and medium temperatures, offering good contact with cylindrical surfaces and fast heat transfer. <strong>Ceramic band heaters<\/strong> are designed for higher temperatures and more demanding conditions.
